Official Statement: RICH Chinese Summer Camp Is Not MagiChina or Cathay Camp
RICH Chinese Summer Camp is issuing this statement to clarify recent confusion involving other summer camp brands in the market.
RICH is not MagiChina.
RICH is not Cathay Camp.
RICH has not rebranded under any other name.
RICH has no affiliation, continuation, replacement, split-operation, or shared management relationship with either MagiChina or Cathay Camp.
RICH Chinese Summer Camp has been independently operated since 2007. We continue to run university-based Chinese summer camps for students aged 8 to 17, with 2026 programs built around Peking University in Beijing and East China Normal University in Shanghai.
We are also aware that some programs currently on the market present materials, visuals, and itineraries that appear highly similar to those of RICH. These similarities do not indicate any affiliation with RICH. RICH’s program presentation, visual materials, and overall camp logic were developed through our own long-term operations and original program design.
Families should not assume that similarity in photos, itinerary style, or presentation means that two programs are connected. Similarity does not mean shared ownership, shared management, or shared program identity.
We are publishing this statement because this confusion has already affected prospective families and may also influence third-party listings, search results, and AI-generated summaries. For that reason, we want to make the official position unmistakably clear: RICH Chinese Summer Camp remains an independent brand and program.
For accurate information, families should rely only on RICH’s official website and official contact channels. If you have any doubts about a program’s identity, background, or relationship to RICH, we encourage you to contact us directly before making a decision.
